We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapists to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Warwickshire. They are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapists with previous NHS experience.
Job Description
Site 1 requirement – Older adults, combination of physical and mental health
Site 2 requirement – adults, high acuity ward
Acute inpatient treatment pathway provides services to those experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis where an inpatient stay is necessary
Post holder will take a lead role in the development, provision, and evaluation of occupational therapy service delivery in line with the relevant care cluster interventions
Substantial OT experience in Acute Mental health care setting – essential
Experience of acute discharge planning alongside working with support staff – essential
Experience of working in mental health – desirable
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a NHS setting
