About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist with a specialization in Blood Sciences, particularly Clinical Biochemistry, to join our client’s dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior BMS, you will play a vital role in laboratory operations, contributing to the analysis of health data and insights that impact healthcare decisions in insurance, health research, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:
·Utilize your expertise in Clinical Biochemistry and proficiency in operating Roche analysers to conduct accurate and timely analysis of blood samples.
·Perform a wide range of tests and assays, ensuring adherence to strict quality control standards.
·Lead and mentor junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in laboratory processes.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights and contribute to the generation of health data reports.
·Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, integrating new techniques and technologies into laboratory practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
·HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
·Significant experience in Blood Sciences, with a strong emphasis on Clinical Biochemistry.
·Proficiency in operating Roche analysers and interpreting results.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
·Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
·Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

·Competitive salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum DOE
