Locum Band 7 Paediatric Wheelchair Occupational Therapist – Berkshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Berkshire. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous Community experience.
Job Description
•Enhanced DBS
•Full UK license and access to own car for work purposes
•Experience of providing wheelchair support in adults or paediatrics (4-6 months)
•Helpful to have knowledge of local wheelchair services and/or approved repairers and rehab engineer networks. However this can be supported in the role.
•Relevant qualification
•Post qualification experience
•NHS experience
•To ensure a high quality, effective and efficient occupational therapy service in wheelchair service
•To be a member of the Therapy Department contributing to planning and policy development in these departments
Experience of a range of health settings – desirable
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Paediatric setting
