Band 3 (Inpatients: Acute Respiratory & Surgical)
Location: Milton Keynes
Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

About the Role:
As a Band 3 Therapy Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients on acute wards. You’ll assist with therapy interventions, patient mobility, breathing exercises, and rehabilitation programs, ensuring patients are supported throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of therapy plans for respiratory and surgical patients.
• Support patients with mobility, breathing exercises, and rehabilitation.
• Help prepare therapy areas and equipment.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to patients during therapy sessions.
• Accurately record patient progress and report to senior therapists.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

• Experience in an acute inpatient setting, particularly with respiratory and surgical patients.
• A passion for helping patients regain their independence and mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• A caring and compassionate attitude with a strong work ethic.
