IMC Locums are looking for a skilled Inpatient Physiotherapist for a client in the Midlands on a locum basis. You will play a crucial role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients across a variety of inpatient settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking for flexible, rewarding work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy treatment programs for inpatients, including those recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care and support the patient’s journey to recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and exercises to aid in recovery.
• Manage a varied caseload with conditions such as post-operative recovery, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders, and complex medical cases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with professional standards and guidelines.
• Support the early discharge process by facilitating safe mobility and functional independence for patients.

Requirements:
• Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or equivalent).
• Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Previous experience working as a physiotherapist in an inpatient setting (NHS or private sector).
• Experience in managing post-surgical, medical, and respiratory conditions.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desirable:
• Experience working in a locum or agency setting.
• Familiarity with NHS systems and processes.
• Experience in specialized areas such as neurology, orthopaedics, or elderly care.
